“Unity For God’s People” Joshua 22:1-34
Scripture: Joshua 22 1:34
The eastern tribes are told they could return home to their families. A civil war is avoided after the priest takes time to see why they stopped and built an altar before crossing the Jordan. They built it as a witness for years to come that they are in unity with the other 9 1/2 tribes of Israel. They want all to see and remember that God is their Lord.
